How am I eating?
I follow a primal/paleo lifestyle. I eat meats, veggies, a little fruit, seeds, and nuts. I do my best to refrain from grains and refined sugars. I am not perfect all the time, but I do my best each day. I currently follow at a 90/10 ratio and am striving toward 100%, little by little.
I am passionate about taking care of my body and try to share my knowledge with anyone who will listen. Obesity in our country is out of control. In my opinion, it stems from lack of knowledge and support, laziness, and straight irresponsibility. I do not believe that paleo/primal is the only healthy lifestyle. I do know that I lost 20 ponds and continue to improve, not only on the outside, but inside as well. We have a responsibility to the people around us to take care of ourselves and be in their lives as long as possible.
I use my passion to run primal/paleo challenges for CSC and find super delish recipes that rival the ones my less-than-healthy critics would drool over. I genuinely want people to be healthy and happy.
Along my journey, I have come across so many wonderful sites. Some of them I stumbled upon and some have been recommended by other health food lovers. Listed below are sites that I visit often for new information and recipes (the list is continuously growing):
