Since starting CrossFit, I have been either a participant or leader in multiple paleo/primal challenges. Click the title to be taken to each one.

36 Day Paleo Challenge (challenge) – My log of the event
My first challenge that I was part of was a 36 day challenge, led by former member, Rich Vos. I started out skeptical, but ready and excited. I really struggled through the first couple of weeks, but soon it got easier. This challenge started my blogging and paleo/primal journey.

July 2010 Challenge
This was the first challenge I lead. People in our gym had been asking me to do one for a while. I was nervous and I was surprised to see the amount of work that goes into running a challenge. It showed me what I can do better in the future. There were quite a few participants, but we slowly had some fall off along the way. Luckily, they joined in on the next challenge!

CSC 2011 New Year Challenge
This challenge was more hands off for me. I did a basic setup and kept it simple. I liked a more hands on approach, but this was very easy to manage. We had a lot of participants and people saw some noticeable changes in the way they feel and how clothes fit. Even more skeptics have been dabbling since this challenge.

Personal challenge
This is a challenge all on my own. I plan to use this month to try more recipes and learn to live without honey, but I will be allowing some dairy and tequilla. :) Operation Summer Time is in full effect. Check HERE for my progress.

When Josh invited me to join the challenge at his gym, I couldn’t turn it down. I was in need of some accountability. So, I jumped in! I removed all alcohol and sugar (only allowing fresh and dried fruits). Click HERE for my photo log…and no judgement. :)
