Back In Mentally & Shows Physically

Getting back on track mentally has felt so good. It is showing on the outside too. :) I am starting to feel more confident in myself, like I did before I got distracted. My fear is turning into excitement. I am anxious to see what the next 6 weeks will hold.

I am also debating on what to do with my programming. Currently, we all follow OPT one week behind. This upcoming is an online comp. From that point on, Esteban wants all of us on schedule with the blog through the open. I am not sure if I will do that or stay a week behind. It will help Marie with my bikini work. And at this point, the open workouts are just another workout for me. We will see what he says….

7:00 am – Cardio Session

30 minute run/jog/walk – Had to take advantage of the nice weather this morning!
2 min walk
:30 at 90% aerobic & :30 at 50% aerobic X10
5 min walk
:30 at 90% aerobic & :30 at 50% aerobic X10
Jog remainder of time

1:30 pm - OPT SHE from 02.04.2013

A. Pause below the knee snatch high pulls, 3-3-3-2-2-2; 2:00 rest
B. Push jerk clusters, 3 x 1.1.1.1.1; :20 rest after singles, 2:00 rest
C1. Power cleans, 3 x 15-20; :60 rest
C2. Ring dips, 3 x max in 2:00; 2:00 rest

A. 95-105-115-120-125-125
B. 75-95-115
C1. 65(20)-75(18)-75(15)….I got tired
C2. 14-17-13; Didn’t push too hard on these to make sure my shoulder felt ok. It didn’t hurt, but I want it to stay that way. :)

5:00 pm - Bikini Prep

1. Full range side laterals, 6 heavy & 10 Light; no rest X3
2. Side lateral drop set heavy, medium light 10, 10, 10 no rest in between X3
3a. 6 Arnold presses
3b. 10 Front raises
3c. 10 Bent over rear laterals X3
4. 200 m sprint x5

1. 8/3 – 10/5 – 10/5
2. 8/5/3 for all
3a. 20′s for all
3b. 8′s for all
3c. 5′s for all
4. Complete; I ran fast!
