Don’t Look at Me, I’m Hideous…
That’s how I felt yesterday. I have had the same thing happen multiple times since August. I keep waking up with my left eye super red. It gets a little itchy, but not bad. It’s mostly just annoying. I am not sure what it is. Conjunctivitis? Allergies? I don’t know. I did some research, but I an’t seems to find anything conclusive. Next time it is red, I will hopefully be able to get into the doctor. If it keeps recurring, my body is telling me something.
I was going to train last night, but it looked really red and I didn’t feel like dealing with fifteen people saying, “Oh my..what happened to your eye???”. I get very self-conscious about it and everyone asking makes me feel worse. So, I went home. This morning, it is almost completely clear. It’s the strangest thing ever. So, I am having to adjust me training a bit.
7:30 am - Bikini Prep
10 Sitting shoulder press – 15′s for all
10 Upright row wide grip – 33# bb for all
10 Full range side laterals – 5′s for all
15 Rear delt pumps – 5′s for all
25 Jumping Jacks (Yep, I went old school)
5 minute row, at aerobic pace
1:30 pm – OPT SHE from 01.11.2012
A. Snatch deadlift 2, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1; rest 2 min
B. HSPU negatives; accumulate 35 reps @4 second eccentric tempo
10 rounds for time:
10 heavy russian KBS
10 dips (sub HR push ups if can’t complete 4 unbroken dips)
B. Only did 10 reps. My shoulder is still not 100%, so I kept this minimal
60# KB, all UB
HR Push…horrible. My muscles were burning really badly on these.
